Android beta: join the First Wave.
Android is the first public testing platform for Unhinged Nav. The beta is focused on real-road navigation quality, voice controls, search, route preview, and personality-mode behavior.
What beta testers help evaluate
- Destination search and route selection
- Route preview and step-by-step instructions
- Live GPS guidance and arrival detection
- Repeat, mute, unmute, and re-center voice controls
- Codependent, Sarcastic, and Adult personality modes
- Real-world behavior on cellular connections and during normal driving conditions
Your two-week testing commitment
We are recruiting U.S. Android testers aged 18 and older. Use your Google Play account email to sign up.
Remain opted in to the Google Play closed test for at least 14 consecutive days and keep the beta installed. Try the app regularly during those two weeks and send honest search, routing, navigation and voice feedback to hello@unhingednav.com.
Google Play approval is pending. Preregistration does not start the 14-day period; it begins when you opt in through the Google Play testing link. We will email the link and instructions when available.
Set up routes while parked or as a passenger, and follow road signs and local laws.
What the waitlist means
Joining the waitlist is not an immediate app download. When a testing slot is available, Android testers receive the testing link and instructions by email. Use the Google account email you expect to use for Google Play testing.
First Wave benefit
First Wave beta testers are planned to receive three months free when the commercial service launches, subject to the final beta offer terms communicated to testers.
